This Week on The Austin Chronicle Show: Texas Book Festival Picks

Team Faires previews the literary event of the year

This week it's a family affair on The Austin Chronicle Show as Arts Culture Robert Faires and daughter Rosalind Faires, one of the Chronicle's regular Books critics, take on the Texas Book Festival.

Need help winnowing down to see out of the 300-some authors slated to appear at this weekend's fest? Robert and Rosalind run through some of the local and national writers they’re most looking forward to.

For even more recommendations for what to do and see at the book fest – which runs Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 26-27, and is, as ever, free and located in and around the State Capitol – check out the Chronicle’s Texas Book Festival hub for interviews, reviews, and more.
